As many of you know, Cathy Catrambone, PhD, RN, FAAN, a member of the Rush Gamma Phi chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) is currently serving at the international level as the President of STTI (2015-2017). Dr. Catrambone has a long history with Rush, is a Rush University Alumnae, and past president of the Professional Nursing Staff
The Gamma Phi chapter of STTI wants to recognize Dr. Catrambone for her accomplishments and specifically for her advocacy and policy excellence by creating a named international award in her honor. In her 2015-2017 Presidential Call to Action, Dr. Catrambone cites influence through advocacy and policy as ways to advance global health and nursing. The "Gamma Phi Catrambone Award for Advocacy and Policy Excellence" will recognize nurse(s) who have improved global health through advocacy and policy.
To make this award a reality the Gamma Phi chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International has set a goal of raising $10,000. Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated. Yet, due to state laws we can only accept donations from individuals who live in illinois.
We ask for your support in establishing the Gamma Phi Catrambone Award for Advocacy and Policy Excellence. Donations should be made to Sigma Theta Tau Gamma Phi Chapter.
