Cathy's Memorial

Today I want to talk about my sister-in-law Cathy Schurmann.I met Cathy 18 years ago and since day one I loved her. I never met anyone like her.  Anyone who met Cathy immediatly they were her best friend, cousin, or sister. She would call you everyday to check on you, come visit, any time someone was sick in the hospital she would be there she truly was a beautiful soul. Don't get me wrong you piss her off and she would tell you where to go and how to get there lol. Her being a yankee fan and me being a Met fan you know I heard it! Sadly 5 months ago Cathy got very sick and was rushed to the hospital when she arrived she was septic and put on life support. Cathy had 5 surgeries they removed a big part of her intestines and a piece of her colon. After surgery she had huge fistula's that would not stop leaking and also horrible bed sores down to the bone. Her body is so weak that it can't handle anymore surgerys and she is getting worse and is in so much pain. So her family has decided that they don't want to see her suffer anymore and had to make the hardest decision of there lives to shut off the life support so she can be at peace. Cathy has lived in Ny all her life but 2 years ago moved to NC so to fly her here and then the funeral cost we just don't have the money for it. So I decided to have a memorial for her so all of her friends and family here in Ny can celebrate her life and say goodbye but we need your help so if you can donate even just $5 toward this beautiful girls memorial we would so appriciate it.
