Cathy Hanzlik's Medical Fund

As most of you know I have been friends with Cathy for for about 28 years.  I met Cathy when I took my daughter Danielle to dance class.  Danielle was clingy and Cathy asked if Danielle was in a pre-school......Well it all started from there.  Danielle ended up in Cathy's class and Kim and Danielle became best friends and still are today.  Danielle's daughter and Kim's daughter are best buds.  Kim's daughter Wynne call's me KK's gandmama (KK is Kadynn, Danielle's daughter).  Cathy also has a son named "Chip", because they say he's a "chip off the old block".  Chip is a special needs child.

And....as most of you know the Hanzlik's didn't have a great 2017.  It started with Cathy's dad getting diagnosed with alzheimer's the end of 2016.  Mr. Cobb, who I called "Daddy Cobb" passed way in April 2017.  In August 2017, Cathy's husband David passed away from congestive heart failure.  Three months later Cathy was diagnosed with the shingles.  I don't know if any of you know this....but if you get the shingles you have a 41% chance of having a stroke or a heart attack.  Well....Cathy had a stroke.

She was getting ready for work one day and Kim noticed she wasn't acting just right.  Cathy was trying to brush it off as being stressed and tired.  Kim did the right thing and took her to the ER.....It was a stroke.  Well it started off as a mild stroke and within a couple of days she had 2 more major strokes and is very lucky to be a live.  Sadly, this has left Cathy unable to get up and down on her own, feed herself, walk and barely talk (her speech is getting better).  She has a long road to go to get better.  At this time she is in great need with her medical bill help.  So if you feel the need to help just any amount....her family and I would greatly appreciate anything you can afford to give.  At this time we really do not know when she will be able to go back to work.  We just want her to concentrate on getting better and not to worry about medical bills.

Thank you for reading Cathy's story and may God Bless You!
