Cathy Carmen's Funeral Expense Fund

With a heavy heart, I ask for your help. My mom has been battling Breast Cancer for many months and though we were hopeful the chemotherapy would rid her body of the cancer, it has not, and it has spread throughout. My mom is in hospice care right now and has been fighting strong but her frail body is starting to shut down.

My mom will leave behind her Husband, son, and 2 beautiful granddaughters.

The unfortonuate truth is that my mom did not have life insurance and after helping my parents with their bills, medical expenses, etc. over the months, I am just not in the financial position to cover the costs of even the minimal of services offered at funeral homes and the cemetary, which average about $7,000 to $9,000.

Anyone who knows me well, knows i do not like to ask for assistance unless I truly need it.

Any assistance one could offer would be wholeheartedly appreciated.
