Cathy & Jim Smyrl's Fundraiser for PAALS

Hey! Greetings from Biscuit! My humans (Jim Smyrl and Cathy Mann) got married on October 10th, and guess what?! I got to be a flower girl - even if I did try to eat my flowers once or twice!! Be on the lookout for more wedding photos of us next week. Meanwhile, my humans said they do not want any gifts, that they've been gifted with an amazing life. If someone feels so inclined to commemorate the day, though, please consider donating to PAALS - Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services - a 501c3 service dog training organization. PAALS has a special place in Cathy and Jim’s hearts, as they spent many of their dates volunteering with PAALS pups. In fact, I guess you could say PAALS grows love! (PAALS is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to enriching and empowering children and adults with physical disabilities and social needs by training service animals and providing animal assisted educational and recreational activities. PAALS is one of only ten charities, out of thousands who applied, to be named to the Angel's List by the South Carolina Secretary of State.  PAALS does not charge for the dogs they place, even though training costs approximately $30,000. Since March, PAALS has not been able to let volunteers inside the facility/ building which has been a huge loss for the organization and has increased the work load for staff.  We realize that the current challenging season has caused financial challenges to many people.  Even if now is not the right time to donate to a charity, we hope you will consider sharing this opportunity to contribute toward the PAALS mission.  Thank you!  FMI about PAALS, visit: https://paals.org/ )
