If I can be transparent ... I'm drowning . Though extremely determined to stay afloat . This is the last place I expected to be but I’m grateful for the platform . I came to NYC in 2011 on a hope and prayer . With virtually nothing to my name . I worked really hard transitioning from Garde Manger to Jr Sous all the way up to HEAD PASTRY CHEF . I officially became incorporated in 2014 . Things pretty much stayed on the up&up, until contract negotiations between my former client and I went south at the end of 2016 . I left a lucrative and comfortable position in pursuit of making the fantasy of paving my own culinary lane, a reality . Since then I've been scraping by . Feeling humbled and blessed to still have a roof over my head and a position in the field I love but now ... enough is enough ! My dream is bigger than this and I can't keep letting the obstacles in my path (however constant) overwhelm me . Luckily ... with your willingness to help not to mention your generosity ... I can soar !

I've been in food education for the past two years and thankfully skilled enough to flourish in this aspect of my craft . Building up a modest and extremely supportive clientele . Yet after costly kitchen rentals and gentrified landlords ... it's high time I have my own space . So here I am !! As they say ... closed mouths do not get fed & we all know I love to eat .
