<div>Hi, my name is Bethany. I have 2 beautiful kiddos that are my everything. We've been struggling ever since a lapse in employment. I do work full time now and have debated getting a 2nd job but it's just not realistic when it comes to having to pay for childcare and commuting.

<div>Commuting already can be a bit of an issue. I also lost my transportation while unemployed. I live rural and a car is definitely a necessity when there's no public transportation and the nearest store is 4 miles away and my job is 27 miles away, but I try to make it work even though at times I end up paying almost the same amount I end up making that day depending on if I have to use a rideshare app. Most of the time that's not even doable because we don't have regular uber/lyft drivers out here.

<div>Every time an appliance breaks or a cold or flu decides to ravage our home that's more money spent and less days of being able to work for me. 
</div>
<div>We've been so fortunate to even be able to continue to ask for help and I apologize for having to raise our goal. I've been trying to come up with a lump sum in time to break the cycle but part of being in financial quicksand is making "bandaid" payments to just keep us going and sometimes sets us back even further. 
</div>
