Cat enclosures for new facility

The shelter is housing cats in cages where they eat, sleep, and use the litter box all in about a 2 foot by 2 foot area.  This is their home until they are adopted, sometimes for as long as a year. 

With the building of the new cat room (soon to be completed), the shelter would like to improve the cat room further by upgrading their cat cages.  These new units prohibit the spread of germs because they have tempered glass doors rather than metal cage doors where germs are easily spread. By decreasing the spread of germs, medical costs will decrease too.  The units also provide more room, a separate litter box area and a shelf for climbing.  

All donations will be used to purchase Raintree Cat Condo's made from the Mason Company.  Ideally, the shelter would like to complete the entire room with these new units which will cost approximately $100,000.00.  

Imagine what it would be like to eat and sleep in your bathroom where you have no room to move around.  These new units will improve the quality of life for these cats and improve the appearance of our local animal shelter.  

The Ridgecrest Animal Shelter has been serving Indian Wells Valley for decades.  Please help them to meet their goal of providing new housing units to their cats.  One day, one of these cats might become your best friend.  They would be very grateful for any donation you can make.  Thank you.
