On October 10, 2018 Panama City and surrounding area experienced a Cat 5 Hurricane, Hurricane Michael. Moving 13mph on its course through the Atlantic and Maintaining 160 mph at landfall, Hurricane Michel left nothing less than utter destruction in its wake. Within 72 hours Hurricane Michael went from a 35mph tropical depression to a 145 mph Cat 4 Hurricane. Within 6 hours of landfall, Michael had moved on to Alabama & Georgia downgrading as a CAT 2 but by then it had already made history as the 3rd most intense Atlantic Hurricane to ever make landfall in the United States.
This year on September 1, 2019 Hurricane Dorian made landfall over the Abaco Islands, Bahamas. Traveling at 1mph, Dorian sat over the Bahamas for over 22 straight hours. 15 of those hours were spent blasting the Bahamas with CAT 5 level wins of 185 mph. With the indigenous people having no where to go and storm surges flooding the islands, the devastation left in Dorian’s wake is nothing short of catastrophic.
We understand more than most what this devastation is like. Let us show our love and support to those who need it now more than ever. Thank you for your time and donations.
We are having a silent auction and also a Harley Davidson Motorcycle to help raise Support.
All funds will be used to help those in the Abaco Islands, Bahamas, whither through buying supplies or the fuel for the private planes being used to deliver the supplies.
Please help us reach our goal!
We would like to thank everyone who donated and participated in this fund raiser! Collectively we were able to take supplies to the Abaco Islands and to help many people in need! We held a second fund raiser on October 13 and were able to schedule a second trip as well. Thank you again!
