Unexpected Leg Amputation.Now What?
Donation protected
Im raising money for Robert Brochard. At 51, he has worked as a Casual
Longshoreman for 14 years , waiting to get a full time"B Book" position.
This means he has no benefits and
no ILWU Union to help him with paying his
medical bills, his medications, his physical therapy who will
teach him how to do everyday things
with one leg,
He has his utility bills, property
taxes, food, and other living expenses
that he has no money for.
He is hoping that when he gets a prosthetic, he can go back to the docks and work.
. This happened so unexpectedly. He went to the E.R for a twisted ankle
and came out of the hospital 1 month and 2 weeks later without his leg.It
turns out that Robert is a diabetic
and when he twisted his ankle ,
he cut it a little and due to being
diabetic, that cut instantly got
Infected.The Dr said that Robert
could have died had he not gone to the E.R..
Robert is the type of man that always has a smile on his face and is always there to help someone in need out and he always brings a smile to all the faces around him.
Robert has been so positive through
all of this, even through the pain and he deserves to have good things
come his way.
Any donation will help, there is no donation to small. $5 or $10 ,it is all so very appreciated and important..
