My Uganda Mission Trip

Donation protected
I have been offered an amazing opportunity to travel to Uganda this Christmas with Kelly Huenink, and a lovely Doctor she knows. The details of the mission are not always clear until the dates get closer, but our main activities will be centered around re-opening a medical clinic, and overlooking training for the clinical officers. We will also be checking on an elderly man, attending a wedding, and going to multiple villages around Uganda. Overall, we are going to help, spread love, and I will be able to experience a new culture.
For anyone who does not know, I am a psychology and behavioral neuroscience major. People, cognitive development, sociology, biology, philosophy, mental illness, and overall the brain, are all subjects that fascinates me the most. My goal in life is to have the most experiences I possibly can. I want to travel, see, and learn everything. This journey that I will embark on with Kelly, will be one of the first in my life. Not everyone has privileges, and I believe the people who do, should help the people who do not. I plan to put out as much positive energy into this world as I can.                                    Having a medical clinic is very crucial for the people living in Uganda. Being able to be a part of re-opening one means a lot to me. In the future I can see myself working at a medical clinic in a foreign country, who needs my help. I am ecstatic and scared all in one for the life that lies ahead of me.                                                                   Next year I plan to go on exchange in another country, I will then come back and graduate in 2020. I will begin a new adventure into the Peace Corps where I will be doing work, just like I plan to this Christmas, before I go to graduate school.
The money I am trying to raise will pay for my flights to get there and back, and pay the church, which will cover my living expenses while I am there. We are going at the end of December- Early January, so the sooner I can raise the money the better. Any help will be greatly beneficial and appreciated. I will need a lot of love and support though out my life journey. Anyone who can and is willing to help me start my epic adventure, please do. I thank you in advance
