Cassia Hypoplastic Left Heart

Hello everyone. My name is Cassia Gracious Lind and I've been diagnosed with HLHS ( Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome) which means I'm missing the left side of my heart. When I am born I will need a series of three open-heart surgeries. The first one being what's called the Norwood procedure when I am born which is in 4 1/2 weeks. Depending on how I recover I might need more surgeries because for my heart it's a little bit complicated. I have a smaller, narrow aortic valve and this makes things difficult for surgery. The outcome could be good or bad. The survival rate is 86% and this is the big surgery But I'm hoping to be beat the odds and praying for a miracle. Then I will need another when I'm about 4-6months old called the Glenn Procedure then another when I'm about 4-5 years old called the Fontan Procedure. This is not a cure for HLHS but it will give me a good chance of living. I would really appreciate any help I can get. God bless you and Thank You.
