Cass' Fund:Teach& Build in Tanzania

Hello all!
As you may or may not know I am a first year Bachelor of Education Teacher Candidate at York University. Over the past 7 years I have worked with children of all ages in and out of educational settings. It is because of these experiences that I have a burning desire to further pursue my passion in a whole new way. I have been presented with an incredible opportunity to help build a school, volunteer in a local village and teach children in TANZANIA, Africa for two and a half weeks in April 2018!
This effort is in collaboration with the me to we foundation to improve the villages and lives of people in need and I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to be apart of this. Being included in this trip I would need to raise funds for: building supplies for the school, educational resources and meals for a week for a family in need as well as travel and accomodation. By being completely immersed in this community I will truly get to learn the culture and daily lives of the Tanzanian people first hand.
Education and knowledge are the most valuable tools in the world, I am striving to make a difference and give these children every possible opportunity to enrich their lives and am asking for your help in doing so! Any contribution will help and be greatly appreciated regardless of the amount. I thank you for your time and assistance in this huge effort!
