Casper Medina Medical Fund

My husband Aaron was house sitting for our good friends Iris Park-Medina & Mike Medina while they where out of town.  After work he got to their place to feed the dogs, fish, and do what needed to be done.  He left the house to run a couple of errands and when he got back, he came back to Casper with a mess.  She had got a hold of something and cut herself some where, but not sure where.  It is still a mystery as to what she got a hold of.  She was acting fine, but scared the crap out of my husband.  He could not sleep as he was so worried about her.  After he talked with Iris, it was decided to have Casper taken to the Vet to be checked out.

Satuday morning after the Vet opened, Aaron took Casper to the Vet.  She was acting fine, in fact she was excited to get in the front seat for her car drive with him.    They thought it may have been her paws, but it was not.  They had to give her a sedation to examine her mouth.  When they did the Dr. found that Casper had a cut under her tongue and had to give her stitches.  When trying to bring her back up from the sedation they had a tough time, and we have had and up and down battle since then.  Casper was not able to breath on her own and had to be transferred to an emergency Vet location.

Once she was transferred we were notified she had a heat stroke at the first location.  They had to ice her down do to a fever, and she had a tube to help her breath.  This is all that happened in day 1.

Today is day 4 and I can not even go into the details of all that has happened in the last 3 days, as it is just too much.  I can tell you Casper had surgery this afternoon to give her a temporary tracheotomy to help open up her air passage.  This will help with her breathing as the swelling of her tongue goes down and it gives her time to heal.  She is doing good after the surgery, but the next 48 hours will be critical.

My husband has felt so helpless, so this is his way of trying to help Iris and Mikey with their baby girl.  The medical bills are starting to pile for their baby girl.  Aaron would like to take one burden away from them.  If you can find it in your hearts to donate, it would mean the world to Aaron and I.  Thank You❣️❣️❣️
