Casillas Family Support

Shortly after her eldest child graduated university in 2016, Alicia was diagnosed with late stages of Multiple Myeloma. This news shook the world of those around her, completely altering the course of their lives.

However, Alicia was determined to fight. She underwent chemo, radiation, surgery, bone marrow transplant, hundreds of medications, and countless doctors appointments. Her goal in sight was to survive for her husband Ruben of twenty-six years and her children.

Alicia is a mother of four extremely strong and driven individuals-Wendy (24), Chris (22), Anthony (18), Richard (16). She raised her sons to be gentlemen and her only daughter to be a woman who could hold her own.

As a devoted and caring wife, Alicia stood by her husband’s side through better or worse. Her tenacity as the matriarch represented the best part of having her around. By example, she taught others how to be giving, patient, and strong.

Alicia was by far the most selfless and caring soul to everyone she met. She was a light in her friends lives that provided warmth and guidance on the hardest of days.  Her heart was truly made of gold.

This funding will directly be spent on the services following her passing. All support is appreciated in this difficult time.
