Beating colon cancer

Donation protected
Nick was a decorated officer of the US army from 1976 to 1986. After, Nick dedicated 32 years of his life to Stamford public schools, specifically West Hill High School from 1986 to 2018. During his time at West Hill High School, he coached both tracks and basketball and was a security guard. He approached his job with pride and always went above and beyond his job requirements. He exceeded his job requirements of keeping students safe and built unique relationships with the students that established trust by fostering a safe space. In addition to his many responsibilities to Stamford public schools, Nick was a hands-on Father to his children and played a critical role in their upbringing. And so how found the time to help countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and etc.
Nick was diagnosed with colon cancer in June 2022 and is undergoing treatment. About 224,080 new cancer cases and 73,680 cancer deaths are expected to occur among Black people in 2022. Black people have the highest death rate and shortest survival of any racial/ethnic group in the United States for most cancers. It’s a shame that cancer treatment is not free in America and it is causing financial strain. We (the family) are asking for donations. No amount is too small. Thank you in advance.
