<div><strong>Who we are: </strong>Casa Innovation is a social impact organization founded in 2023 by Maria Velasquez, dedicated to backing social entrepreneurs and local economic power in historically underestimated communities across Colombia and the Americas. This campaign is organized by Maria Velasquez, Casa Innovation's founder and U.S. liaison.

<div><strong>Our relationship to the affected communities: </strong>Casa Innovation has worked directly in Chocó since 2023, including prior relief work following a fire in Quibdó this past July. Liseth Martinez, one of our Country Managers, leads Viche Canao, an ancestral spirits brand based in the Chocó region and part of Casa Innovation's entrepreneur ecosystem. We are coordinating this response directly with the Alcaldía de Quibdó, the Diócesis de Istmina-Tadó, Codechocó, and the Ventanilla de Negocios Verdes — local institutions with direct, established presence in the affected communities.

<div><strong>How funds will be spent: </strong>Donations to this campaign go toward: (1) transporting volunteer medical teams to Quibdó — 26 medical professionals organized in squads of 6 from Medellín, plus 10 doctors from Bogotá; (2) on-site lodging and meals for these teams, averaging 5 days per group; (3) medical supplies and equipment for a field hospital serving both people and animals; and (4) transport of donated supplies to affected families in Quibdó and the Subregión del San Juan (Istmina). We will report back with full transparency on where every dollar goes.

That work has been foundational, and I am proud of it.

<div>Second — and just as important — <strong>accompanying the entrepreneurs already in our ecosystem </strong>as they move into their next chapter. We have spent years building relationships with founders who are ready to grow, scale, and cross new thresholds. Now we walk alongside them as translators — helping them navigate new markets, new languages, new systems — not from a distance, but one on one. Acompañamiento real.
