Casa Hogar Project by Rotary Club of Folsom

Donation protected
The Rotary Club of Folsom is going to Colima, Mexico for an international project from 2/29/20-3/4/2020.  Our project is at Casa Hogar, a home for +50 children whose poverty level parents cannot afford the day to day costs of housing them.  The children live at Casa Hogar Sunday through Friday and attend school there during the week.  This gives the parents the opportunity to work and have a safe place for their children.

Our main project as Rotarians is to add solar panels to the premises, but there are a few other urgent items we would like to handle.

Our goal is to help give students the opportunity to be self-sustaining by decreasing energy cost with solar panels and sustainability through raising their own food, both plant and chickens.  Casa Hogar will benefit from having their own chickens and give them the ability to sell the extra eggs at the local market.  This is a great opportunity to help build entrepreneurial skills!

We would also like to provide them with bedding and day to day sanitary needs.

We know that not everyone can donate, so we'd appreicate it if you share this gofundme for others to donate.
