Casa Grande community garden

Our community is blessed with an opportunity to turn a 0.83 acre lot into a community tropical garden, which would be an oasis in the desert of central Casa Grande, AZ. I hope to help lift people up and generate surplus fruits and vegetables to bolster local food banks, while helping to educate the homeless, people with serious mental illness, combat veterans suffering from traumatic brain injuries and/or post-traumatic stress disorder, and the common public or anyone with an interest in becoming a green thumb to supplement theirs and their families food supplies with healthy home grown foods.

We can also break through the political partisan divide that plagues our nation and perpetuates division, by reaching out to one another in kindness and lending a helping hand in getting each other's gardens firmly established. We have an unparalleled power as a community and we stand stronger united in our collective vision to share seeds, plants, cuttings, and trees all propagated from this invaluable resource. We will be good stewards of this landscape, and utilize it properly with education in mind. This community garden has the potential to bring the community together in ways never before imagined.
