Casa Flamenca wants your help to make 2019 a summer of flamenco to remember!
Please donate today to help us launch our summer flamenco show series featuring local artists and guests artists from Spain and across the U.S.!
For the past 6 years, Casa Flamenca has been hosting a summer flamenco show series in its warm and intimate space in Albuquerque. This summer, we want to bring you even more great flamenco by expanding the series to three months in June, July and August, pairing our local New Mexico talent with special guest artists from across the U.S. and Spain. But we need your help to make this happen!
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to fund our three-month summer flamenco show series, and we are inviting you to help us by making a donation today!
We are fortunate to be here in Albuquerque, the most flamenco city in the United States! Truly, this is one of the only places in the U.S. where you can see flamenco at all levels, from an internationally acclaimed annual festival, to large theatrical productions and tablao shows all over town. In this “ecosystem” of flamenco, Casa Flamenca is like a peña flamenca in Spain, which is a cultural association focused on the pure and authentic style of flamenco and where talented local artists get the opportunity to perform and hone their craft. But far from stuffy, peñas are places where magic happens in every show with the audience up close and personal with the performers, and where flamenco exists without borders (flamenco sin fronteras)!
And like many authentic peñas in Spain, our space is an actual house! We encourage you to come and hang out in our patio before and after the show, and since we are a BYOB and BYOW space, you are welcome to bring your favorite libations to drink before, during and after the show and make some new friends!
All donations of any amount are welcome, and no gift is too large!
We want to give you a few incentives to support us as we try to reach our fundraising goal by May 31, 2019:

Here is what audiences are saying about our shows:
"These guys just get better and better. Last night's packed tablao performance topped any flamenco show I've seen anywhere in the world including in Spain, and I've seen dozens. The very best of local talent combined with first-rate performers from southern Spain. Whether you live in New Mexico or are just visiting, are new to flamenco or already familiar with it, a show by this company is not to be missed. The classes they offer to people of all ages come highly recommended also. Wow!"
"Albuquerque’s locals are lucky that Casa Flamenca is right here, tourists will definitely have a very special experience to tell about once they are back home."
"Casa Flamenca is having a stellar summer tablao season! We attended last weekend, and the show was great! The singer and guitarist are here for the season from Spain, and our own Valeria Montes and Juan Siddi were dancing. Top notch performers all. We loved the new smaller seating (30 people circling the room) and as always, enjoyed that we could bring our own refreshments. It really is an atmosphere reminiscent of Spain."Casa Flamenca's Website
