Carti’s PARVO Treatment

Hey guys this is our puppy Carti. He’s a 9 week old Maltipoo that we recently got just this Christmas Eve as a gift from my girl’s sister. Her sister got scammed on Craigslist and was sold a sick puppy and later got blocked. We didn’t know this at the time and when we first got him he was really happy and energetic. But a couple days ago on 12/27 Carti was acting off and wasn’t as playful as he usually was. We immediately knew something was off and took him to the pet hospital where we later found out he had tested positive with PARVO. Carti’s currently on his 4th day in treatment now and is battling hard against the disease. His health started dipping drastically just last night and the vet gave us the option of putting him down but we refuse to give up hope on Carti. The estimated cost for Carti’s treatment could range anywhere from $6000-$8000. Being both college students and not making all that much money, we’re trying our best to keep him on his treatment and we’re currently using our savings and credit to cover the costs. We don’t want to have to resort to putting him down and still have hope that he’ll get better and make it through but we really can’t afford the costs if he has to be kept any longer for treatment.
