Carters Christmas for the Homeless

Hello!

My son Carter's 5th birthday is December 5th and instead of getting presents this year he has asked to raise money to help those less fortunate.  We would like to make 50 care packages for the homeless, with items including:

*Socks
*Toothbrush/Toothpaste
*Shampoo/Conditioner/Soap
*Blanket
*Gloves
*Homemade Sandwich and Cookies
*Bottle of water

All funds raised will go towards making these care packages, so if we happen to go above the $1000 target, it will mean more care packages made!

Sometime mid-December Carter and I will be going to one of the homeless shelters on the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver to deliver our presents. 

I'll be posting pictures as we go along for updates and I'll make sure to take lots of photos on the day we deliver the packages to the shelter!

I am incredibly proud of him for being so selfless and I believe being exposed to this other way of living will be such an incredible experience for him.  Any donations toward this cause would be greatly appreicated!
