Carter's Medical Fund

Carter is my 12 year old son and has  been battling brain cancer since the age of 6. Some things that he loves are sports & anime. Carter was first diagnosed with medulloblastoma in 2012. He had surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. After his surgery he had a difficult time getting back to himself. He had to learn how to walk and talk again, basically he had to learn how to do things all over again. He did pretty good for a couple of years and was in remission. In March of 2017 he had a routine MRI of his brain. When the results came back they spotted something on the MRI scan. In April of 2017 he had a biopsy, to determine if it was the same tumor he had in the past. When the result came back, he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. My family and I were and still are very devastated by the news. Upon doing my research on this tumor, I learned that this was a very aggressive brain tumor. As of November 2017 Carter has become very sick and has lost his ability to walk, talk, etc because the tumor has gotten much bigger. He is now 12 years old and understands his illness more, but he has remained very strong and optimistic throughout this entire journey . His doctors are trying him with another form of chemotherapy. They really don't think it's going to work, but it doesn't hurt to try. My family I are really going through a hard time. Watching your child go through something like this is painful.  We still have hope and pray everyday, because we know God has the last say. We really appreciate all the donations we get. It would really be helpful to us at this time.
