Carson Glen Koch & Brayden Eaton, two beautiful 17 year old souls from Sandy, UT, died in a tragic car accident on Saturday coming home from a family vacation for Spring Break. Brayden's mom had just died the week before from liver failure. Carson and Brayden had been dating for 16 months. They were traveling home together when their car veered off the road and rolled between Mesquite & St. George. Both of them were instantly killed. It is a tragedy beyond words.
They were both Juniors at Hillcrest High School and were very good, dedicated students. Carson had a 3.9 overall GPA, received his Eagle Scout at 13 and worked as an Umpire & Ref for Sandy City and at Sizzler in Sandy. He was a talented Drummer & LOVED Basketball. Brayden worked full time at Buffalo Wild Wings in Sandy while still going to high school full time and maintaining A's & B's. The girls' father lives in Indiana and their grandmother has sole custody and responsibility for the girls. Their grandmother is overwhelmed and financially devastated trying to absorb both of these tragedies in such a short time.
A dual funeral will be held this Saturday, April 14th. The viewing will be from 10 to 11:30AM and the Funeral will be at 12PM. The address is 8485 S 1000 E at the LDS Stake Center.
The Koch family is making arrangements for the transport of the bodies to Utah and they will be financing the costs for both children and would appreciate any help you can give. Any left over or additional funds will be used to help Brayden's sister Cadence and provide counseling and support for us all.
For gofundme fund hold purposes: This campaign was created by Jody Koch, Carson Koch's mom. We live in Sandy, Utah. The funds are being used for memorial and funeral costs as well as help and support related to this tragedy for the Koch family and Cadence, Brayden's sister. The funds will be directly deposited into Carson's existing account at Utah Power Credit Union where they will be distributed from there as needed. Funds will ONLY be used for these purposes stated above. Careful records are being kept of all expenses paid from this account.
