Even though this is a time of much change and vulnerability, one thing remains steady - my love and care for (street) dogs. I am thrilled to be back helping the stray dogs of Mysore, India. <div>I’m raising funds to help the local community care for Mysore’s street dogs year round!

<div>Sterilization is the most effective way to break the cycle of suffering for street dogs and it’s a huge focus this year.
</div>

<div>In January, 12 dogs were sterilized, and in the 2 weeks I’ve been here so far, we’ve already sterilized 8 more (6 spayed, 2 neutered)! Beyond sterilization, so much more is done to care for the stray dogs.

<div>What I’ve Helped With So Far:

<div>• +30 vaccinations, deworming, and booster shots
</div>
<div>• 5 emergency vet visits after puppies were hit by vehicles, and another dog found in distress
</div>
<div>• Daily feeding &amp; fresh water for over 120 stray dogs
</div>
<div>• tick and fleas treatment &amp; lifesaving medicine

<div>—&gt; Why are we asking for $10,000?
</div>
<div>Last year we raised $8,000 which lasted us almost a year, and allowed us to provide essential care, including food, for over +120 dogs. This year we are hoping to raise a little bit more in order to (1) sustain our ongoing efforts, (2) as well as increase the number of sterilizations done. And more dogs are always coming our way!
