Carrion Baby Fund

We have known Megan since 8th grade. The bond we each shared was very rare to find such early in life. Growing up, we dreamed of the perfect fairytale wedding then having kids. Megan wanted 10, Ansley 6, and myself 2. We never realized the future would happen so soon!

Megan and Adolfo met in 2008 while working together. Megan and I were roommates at the time, so I saw first hand their love for one another blossom into a romance that most people dream for. On June 24, 2011 Megan and Adolfo were married. Later that year, my husband and myself found out we were expecting our first daughter. Megan was at all of my doctors appointments and ultrasounds. At that time, Megan and Adolfo made the decision they too were ready to become parents. Megan and Adolfo were starting to experience fertility issues. They were timing ovulation but nothing seemed to take. They decided to undergo IUI in Ecuador where Adolfo is from. After that proved unsuccesful, there were multiple visits to a specialist and countless amounts of money with years passing by, the thought of being a parent was more than they could ever imagine.

Recently, Megan and Adolfo visited another fertility specialist who confirmed Megan had endometriosis.  Megan will be having surgery to determine the degree of endometriosis she has. They gave her a few options but told her the only way to become pregnant would be through another round of insemination or IVF or in-vitro.  Insemination costs around $2500- $3000 per try and ususally doesn't happen the first time. In-vitro costs $18,000.  They are desperately doing whatever it takes to become parents.

Megan and Adolfo are the type of people that will go out of their way to help anyone in need and don't expect anything in return. We want to do whatever it takes to help make them become parents!
