<div>Hey guys, so I’m Carolina and in 2020 I was diagnosed with a disease called immunoglobulin A nephropathy. It is a rare autoimmune disease that kills your kidneys off and unfortunately, I have reached end stage renal failure and I’m now on Dialisis. I am still a full-time student at the university of Georgia working on my masters. I try to do the best that I can but the money I get at the moment is not enough and unfortunately, I cannot work. I have to have a saving for whenever I get my kidney transplant hopefully soon. They don’t tell you how long you have to be on the waiting list. It just happens when it happens, but I do have to have enough money to take care of myself after surgery and transplantation. I also need to be able to sustain myself day to day.

<div> My father was also a Renal patient so I try to take very good care of myself the same way he did. Unfortunately, he had the same disease and passed away at the end of 2021. He was waiting on his second Transplant at this point. It has gotten so difficult and would appreciate any help that I can get.
