Taking care of Carole's furrybabies

Donation protected

This is my dear friend Carole Moreno. I met her March of 2017. She helped me rescue a cat in desperate need of help. This was something that came so natural to her. To help those in need. She didn't even think twice about it. As it turned out, she lived 2 houses away from me. She invited me over, I showed up and met all her furry babies, and it was a friendship made in heaven. She has been part of my life since then. She became a part of my daily life, visiting with her 3 or 4 times a week. I looked forward to our time together. We shared a passion for animals- most especially our kitties. They brought us a joy we could not explain. Nothing she did for them ever seemed too much for me. She knew I felt the same way and trusted me to help her with her mission to save those we could.
In October, that spunk seemed to slowly diminish. I sat with her for the next 2 weeks wondering if she would get through this, maybe it was a cold. Watching this active and vibrant woman look so tired hurt my heart. It was November 1st that would change everything. As I walked up to her home looking around as I usually do to see which of her babies are out and about, I come to find my dear friend in need of help. I quickly called her family to get her help immediately. Her love for her babies kept her from seeking the help she needed. She did not want to leave them. It wasn't until I promised her that I would care for them as my own would she agree to go to the ER. I promised to find them the best care and home should anything happen to her- and it is this promise I do intend to fulfill. On November 2, 2017, she was diagnosed with lung cancer that had spread to her brain. She bravely faced her illness with grace, humor and dignity, but on January 16, 2018, Carole, with one of her precious cats in her arms, departed this life and will forever be at peace. With your help, I would love to give her kitties the love, the home and care she would have given them. She entrusted me to fulfill this wish for her, one I know that would alleviate her greatest worry. As I continue to care for these precious little souls, I see her in each of their eyes. I sense their loss as much as our loss of this beautiful life on earth. I am extremely grateful for any donation you can make - any amount is welcomed. Funds are needed as soon as possible as they will be relocated to their new home within the next 2 weeks.
I began caring for 19 when Carole was first admitted to the hospital in early November, and with the help of another dear friend who shares our passion, we have been able to find homes for or adoption organizations to take in several. Trust that you will be fulfilling her wish- her love- and her will. Your donations will go toward providing food, litter, supplies and medical care and upkeep of shelter for Carole's 11 beloved remaining cats in my care. I have found a wonderful couple in Devine, Texas who have found room in their hearts to take in all 11 cats. An indoor and outdoor fully enclosed shelter will be made for their protection. Your help will ensure their well-being and will provide assistance to the two people who are willing to take in and provide the love and care to Carole's babies for the duration of their lives.

Thank you again for your donations.
Although I knew her for only a year, it is a lifetime of love!

Sincerely, Bee
