Caro's Healing Cost

Hey friends - still in Bali for another month

You may know me from California, or from the East Coast, from festivals, or from travel. You may know me as Caro, Carol, Carolyn, or Fire Geisha, we may have gone to highschool together, or maybe you don't know me at all and you somehow ended up here... well here's my story.

A few days after getting to Bali (Indonesia) I found out that what i initally thought was a spider bite, is a staph infection that got pretty bad pretty quick. I went to a doctor and got blood testing and realized that this was only the tip of the iceberg. Honestly thank god this staph showed up because otherwise I wouldn't have known about the other problems laying under the surface. I was told that if I didn't start doing treatments now that in a year I would be really sick,  on a downward spiral - with Lyme's, fibroid tumors, and who knows what else.

My blood under a microscope showed that I have the specific bacteria present which is what develops into Lyme's. Which usually isn't a problem because a healthy immune system can fight it off. However, my immune system is really not doing too hot and is overwhelmed by the amount of parasitic cells, actual parasites, fungi, candida, bacteria and HEAVY METALS present in my blood. My blood is extremely acidic which is a breeding ground for bad things to thrive. Add into that equation anemia and problems absorbing proteins into my blood, leaky gut, a clogged liver, large intestine with 2 massive blockages and appendix that is blocked up (verge of appendicitis), and the staph infection on top ... not good.

Was definitely scary to see the reality of how my body is doing... learning to accept the reality of what is happening inside me.

Anyways I've started a treatment plan with a really epic doctor which involves healing from the inside out with colonics, ozone, vitamin c infusions, changing my diet to heal my gut. I feel deeply that this 1000% is going to cure me and that I do not need antibiotics (which i am allergic to anyways) or to be hospitalized. Doing this every day for the rest of my time in bali (a little over a month) and so SO grateful to have been linked up with this doctor,a nd  for the amount of support I've received from friends and strangers, and my parents who really stepped in and let me know how loved and supported i am.

This has all been really emotional for me, and physically intense and exhausting but I cannot stress how lucky I am to be exactly where I am, doing exactly this. Even these emotional waves feel really healing, as my doctor intuitively told me that a lot of these issues start from stored emotions that I need to let go. I've internalized the emotional pain from a childhood of physical and emotional abuse, and though I feel like i've known that for a while it is INSANE how these things can manifest physically for us.

Taking this time to be extra gentle with myself. Allowing my heart to open more as I feel more vulnerable than I have in years... and its pretty terrifying but, again, I know this is the best thing that could have happened to me .

I have paid for a portion of my treatments up front, and my parents have helped me out tremendously (love you!) but I am now running pretty low financially and costs are piling up. I need to pay rent at the place I am staying in Ubud (about $300 USD), cover the cost of going to and from the doctor each day for the next month ( about 8$ USD a day x roughly 30 days or so = 240$), food ( roughly 50$ a week x 4 weeks = $200), and a ton of supplements and things for my healing (enema kits, fiber, minerals, the remainder of my treatment costs ((hard to estimate this, but roughly 500$ USD))

I'm sure that i underestimated the total that I need, but I think starting small is a better place. I know that I am always supported and taken care of, and I am beyond grateful for everything that has happened thus far.  thank you so much for reading all of this and being a part of my journey.

I will send a personal thank you to everyone who donates, no matter the amount.

So much love <3
