Well, where do we start with a treasure we all know Carmen to be?

I know where I met her; I remember the first time hearing her angelic, soft, caring voice that rang loud and echoed within my heart. I could tell from the first time talking with her I would know her the rest of my life and felt like I had known her my whole life.

After 20 plus years of a beautiful friendship and relationship that could never be replaced, we find ourselves thanking the Lord even more than usual for that next breath and the next sunrise. We can help her along her journey, as the prayers are being heard. Today is another wonderfully blessed piece to our story.

Those who know Carmen in any capacity know we are headed through the roughest part of life. Details are not pleasant, but Carmen’s beautiful smile is still bright as ever with her chin up and looking positively toward the future.

This is the part of Carmen’s story where we reach out to all of you for help. Carmen has always helped all of us in some way: a beautiful smile to lift our spirit, a kind word to keep our faith, or a hand to help pull us up. This is never easy, to ask for help, but in an amazing life no one can do it alone. We reach out to those of you who can help. The bumpy road ahead is going to hurt, and it’s going to sting.... but we can help her not hurt, and we can cool the burn of what stings. We can help our Carmen who we have leaned on all these years at her moment in life that she needs it the most.

I ask for prayers for Carmen. I ask for your kind thoughts, stories, memories and relationships with Carmen. But I also am asking to help with a donation to help Carmen get the care she needs. Some of us can only donate our kind words and stories and those are the most important at a time like this. But to those of us who can donate funds to help ease her mind through this, I can not thank you enough. Now is the time when she needs it the most.

We all share our love for Carmen in many ways. She loves us all back with her smile that clears the darkest clouds, her hug that takes fears away, and her friendship that is unconditional and ever lasting. Carmen remains passionate about her work. While holding a leadership role with her team, she will continue to lead others to success through growth and ability. She misses the fulfillment of seeing us all day to day and meeting with us in person but will rely on her team to carry her smile to us.

Your donation will be carried through to the costs of treatments, from traditional medicines, to alternative care to boost immune system & recovery, transportation as well as dietary requirements that have changed. All donations will be used to carry Carmen’s spirit, dedication and love for this great life we all share.

I personally thank all of you for showing support and love for our Carmen. The stories and memories are cherished for more than our lifetimes. Our donations will carry her, fully supported through this time of life and help continue the stories and memories we still have in our bright future to make with Carmen.

I have found a lifetime of inspiration with my relationship with Carmen, and I hope you too have found yours with her.
