Carmen Reimer and girls

This GoFundMe Page has been created for Carmen Reimer and her two young girls.  Very recently Carmen’s oldest daughter in Grade 9 was diagnosed with an eating disorder.  This illness has taken a very quick and serious turn for the worse.  She has been admitted into the Calgary Sick Children’s Hospital.  Carmen and her children live in the small community of Sylvan Lake, AB. Where Carmen is a house cleaner.  Sylvan Lake is about 1.75 hours north of the Calgary Hospital.  Due to this unforeseen medical trauma she is unable to be in Sylvan Lake to work because like any mom, she is not leaving her little girls’ side.  No work = no income.  She has no benefits due to the nature of the job.  The expenses are quickly adding up between the regular/common expenses and now the medical ones. Carmen is sleeping in her daughters hospital room as it does save on an extra expense.  It won’t take long before there is nothing left to pay their expenses, like: rent, vehicle, utilities, food, etc.  When Carmen’s beautiful – quiet – gentle – smiley daughter is strong enough she will be transferred from this Hospital to an inpatient Treatment/Recovery Center.  She will receive all of the necessary and varying health support there as well as her school courses will be available.  The road to recovery we are all told is usually a long and gruelling one.  Carmen will be required to take part in many aspects of her daughters recovery and treatment (as she also wants to be) and therefore will be unable to work much if at all.  She will be driving to/from Calgary for a few months.  Carmen has been a single Mom for quite a few years and works hard at providing everything her girls require.  Asking her to agree to this Fund raiser was very difficult on her but she does know she cannot do this alone.  With her permission, my husband and I are asking each and every one of you to consider giving to this young family who over the years has become family to us and ours.  Please Share This.  We thank you ahead of time for taking the time to read, share, and maybe even donate.  Carmen also says thank you so much for the prayers, texts, and deliveries to the hospital...  loving on her is giving her the strength to remain strong through this trying time.
