<div><strong><em>Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals</em></strong>, In 2019, Carmelita developed dementia, which later progressed into Alzheimer's disease. In 2022, she suffered a stroke, resulting in a fall that led to a brain bleed. By 2023, she was completely bed-bound and aphasic, unable to communicate verbally, and reliant on others for her care. <em>On May 6th, 2024</em>, our beloved Carmelita Penoliar departed from this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and memories.

<div>As we gather to bid farewell to our dear Carmelita, we are met with the harsh reality of financial strain. The cost of arranging a proper viewing to honor her memory amounts to <b>$6k. </b>We would like to humbly reach out to our extended family, friends, and compassionate souls, to help us in our endeavor to give Carmelita the farewell she deserves. Your generous contributions will go directly towards covering the expenses of the viewing and ensuring that all her loved ones have the opportunity to pay their final respects.
