I am pleased to confirm that the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA), the national peak body representing small business and sole traders, has agreed to accept and distribute the donations as grants to small businesses currently doing it tough. COSBOA is a key voice for small businesses across Australia and is dedicated to advocating for, understanding, and promoting Australian small businesses. The grants will make a huge difference to those impacted by COVID-19 lockdowns. The plan is to support Victorian businesses first, then hopefully expand then through additional fundraising to small businesses across Australia.
COSBOA will be establishing a Doing It Tough grants for anyone who wants to further support the small business community. Interested small business owners or sole traders are also encouraged to apply for a grant on the COSBOA site: https://www.cosboa.org.au/doing-it-tough
