<div>August 8th marks the day that has forever changed the Navar family.

<div>Our beloved friend Carlos was involved in a major car accident and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI).

<div>Since the accident, Carlos has been in the ICU, and has undergone surgery including other treatments as complications arise. Through it all, he has been surrounded by his incredible wife and both of their wonderful families.

<div>We know that the road to recovery is long, full of many twists and turns and may not have a final destination yet. But we are on this road together for life. Despite all of these struggles and challenges, perhaps the greatest blessing has been finding all the loving support that has surrounded them.
</div>

<div>On behalf of Carlos, Roxanne and Baby Leo, we are coming together as a community and collecting donations that will help cover any medical care costs and financial burdens for their family. Your contributions will be a beacon of hope, guiding them through this challenging phase and assisting them as they strive to return to a semblance of normal life.

<div>Nuestro querido amigo Carlos estuvo involucrado en un gran accidente automovilístico y sufrió una lesión cerebral traumática. Desde el accidente, Carlos ha estado en la UCI y se ha sometido a cirugía y otros tratamientos a medida que surgen complicaciones. A pesar de todo, ha estado rodeado de su increíble esposa y de sus maravillosas familias.

<div>Sabemos que el camino hacia la recuperación es largo, está lleno de giros y vueltas y es posible que aún no tenga un destino final. Pero estamos en este camino juntos de por vida.
