My parents were visiting me in the US where we spent an amazing month enjoying quality family time. On Tuesday August 28th I took them to the airport, we said our sad goodbyes and I saw them walking towards the check point. Later the same day, a doctor from a hospital in Jamaica called me to give me the terrifying news that their plane had to make an emergency landing and my dad was transported to the nearest hospital to receive urgent medical care. He was in critical condition after losing a lot of blood and was sent immediately to the intensive care unit. My mom, who is in the first stage of Alzheimer's disease, and sister, who is handicapped, were placed in a room in the same hotel. 
I have been dealing with the travelers' insurance they paid before the trip since then. As every company they just care about money. The hospital has been pushing us to pay for their services with the excuse that the insurance will give us the money back if we take legal actions. Bureaucracy and more bureaucracy! I have deposited $9,000 in the hospital accounts as I was and am afraid that he won't receive treatment if there's no money. 
Now my family is stranded in the middle of nowhere, far away from home, and alone, waiting for the doctors to give my dad the ok to fly back (11 more hours). i am in the US, alone, no family and trying my best to stay strong for him. 
This is a desperate call for help! I need funds to help with hospital bills (if i wait for the insurance to give me an answer my dad will never make it home) and especially to help them go back home. During the frenzy on the plane, my dad's wallet got lost along with cash and all his documents. 
I sincerely appreciate if you can help! Every penny count!
All I want is my family back home in Argentina where my dad can continue treatment with his doctors. The battle for him is not over!
