As many of you may know, the current situation in Venezuela is a serious one, where resources are scarce and most medical treatment are almost prohibitively expensive. This is why I have started this "gofund me" page - to help a 27 year-old Venezuelan engineer named Carlos Eduardo get the kidney transplant that he desperately needs. Fortunately, he has a donor - his mom - purpose, at the moment, his family does not have the money to pay for the surgery. Carlos Eduardo was diagnosed with Uremic Syndrome, which has developed into Stage V Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). He has been undergoing hemodialysis three times a week since January 2017 after a severy complication, but surgery remains his only option to reach a full recovery.
