Carlos Castro Expense Fund

Our family was struck by a horrific accident on February 18, 2018. Carlos was doing something he enjoyed doing every day. He was walking and then the accident happened, he got hit by a freight train. It is a miracle that he is still alive. He has overcome heart surgery, back surgery, shoulder surgery, eye socket repair surgery and has a tracheostomy tube inserted. He is still on a ventilator as his lungs collapsed and has broken ribs. Carlos has no feeling past his belly button and the doctors say he will never walk again. He is a miracle to still be with us and he can be a miracle with walking again. Carlos has been riding for more than 20 years and has won over 1000 races and he loved doing it and knowing that he will never get to do what he loved so much is one of the hardest things for him to accept. Carlos has 2 children Lionalyz 19, Carlena 13, and a stephdaughter Nikaletta 20 and we know that their dad will walk them down the aisle on their wedding days! As a jockey he is self employed and has no accidental insurance which means no paycheck, no source of income. Anything that can be given in our time of need would be greatly appreciated!
