This is my son; Chris Sandage he is 34 years old, is married to Katie and they have a daughter Ashbury and a son Cody.
In January of this year he was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer; KRAS wild-type. He has been undergoing treatment with mixed results and still has several treatment options available.
Because of his health he has been forced to stop working at the job he loved for the town of Dale, Indiana. He has applied for benefits but it may be several months before they kick in. In the meantime there is only his wife Katie's part-time income at the school, family and wonderful friends helping them.
Now comes cold weather and their propane and water tanks need filling. There are several trips each month to Evansville for Dr. appointments with the potential for trips elsewhere in the future. Plus the everyday costs of living and providing for a family.
Until Chris is approved for and starts receiving his benefits there aren't the funds for these expenses; especially the needed propane.
So I'm asking for help for my boy and his family to get through these hard times they're having. They can also use your prayers. Thank you in advance and God Bless.
