<div>Caring East Gippsland is the name of a group of East Gippsland locals who are supporting passionate, committed and caring candidates for the 2024 elections to the East Gippsland Shire Council.

<div>They have different interests, perspectives and backgrounds; however, they all have a deep commitment to a set of values that we consider necessary for councillors working for East Gippsland.

<li>Smart, healthy enterprises are supported to be established and grow.

<li>Relationships between the community and the East Gippsland Shire Council are positive, trusting &amp; open.

<li>The risks and opportunities of climate change are understood and planned for.

<div>We are raising funds to help cover the costs of the candidates' campaigns. So far this has included advertising in the local newspapers and on social media, printing pamphlets &amp; flyers, and posting them to households throughout East Gippsland, and the launch that we held in September.
