Cari Cook-Hines Medical Fund

Cari Cook-Hines had an unexpected massive stroke while vacationing with her husband, Jay, in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 6th, 2016. She is currently in Sunrise Hospital, in ICU. It is possible that she will be there for at least a month. She has a tumor and it is called Atrial Myxoma, and this mass caused the stroke. She will have open heart surgery to remove the tumor on either Monday, July 11th or Tuesday, July 12th. Because she is out of state, her health insurance cannot cover the full hospital expenses and there are additional expenses for the family to be able to stay in Las Vegas.
