Caren Carpenter

A few weeks ago my beautiful cousin, Caren Carpenter, was diagnosed with a Gist tumor in her stomach.  Caren has since under gone surgery to remove the tumor as well as a portion of her stomach.  Caren has had to remain in the hospital, for several weeks now, while undergoing many painful treatments as well as surgery (again) to dissolve an infection gained after surgery. 

Caren has had some tough weeks, but her prognosis is good and we are hoping she gets to go home this week. 
As most of you know, Caren is a single Mom who started a new job just weeks before her diagnosis, leaving her entering the hospital for surgery without insurance. 

Our hope, goal and wish is that Caren can go home to recuperate with her family, especially her amazing daughters, Nicole and Brooke,  without the financial burden that comes along with her diagnosis and extended hospital time.
