Our fun-loving, creative, fabulous, vivacious, kind and loyal friend Mary-Elizabeth (aka "sister") has faced a stubborn brain tumor for over 10 years with more grit, determination, and courage than most can fathom. On December 4th, we learned that her recurrent grade 4 (aggressive) glioblastoma has returned after radiation, chemo and a slew of other treatments that began in spring 2018.

So many have prayed fervently, brought meals, given gifts, sent flowers, and provided support in a number of incredibly helpful and thoughtful ways and we are forever grateful. As she continues to fight this tumor and its horrible side effects including double vision, lack of balance, headaches, etc., we are facing costs associated with care and treatment not covered by insurance such as in-home nursing care, equipment needed for enabling her mobility, medicines not covered by insurance and more. The funds will be managed directly by me to cover these costs that are getting bigger with each and everyday.

We are establishing this fund for those of you who have asked how you can help. Based on her needs we feel this is the most straight-forward and direct way you can help her, Rick, Sam and Jake beyond your wonderful prayers and well-wishes.
