Hello Everyone,
As the weather in Toronto begins to drop into the negatives, has it become difficult for you to stand outside for 1 minute? 3 minutes? 5 minutes? If you answered yes, imagine being outdoors for countless hours a day and not having the right necessities to keep you warm. Well that’s the harsh reality for countless individuals in our very own city.
Two years ago my family and I made it our mission to tackle this devastating issue by handing out care packages to the less fortunate during the Holiday season.
This year we would like to extend an invite to all of our family and friends to help make this winter a little more bearable. Please find 2 minutes to donate to this great cause by clicking on the link below.
The care packages will contain hats, scarves, gloves, thermal socks, all-purpose wipes, snack bars, reusable water bottles, personal care products, blankets, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, sweaters, a Tim Horton’s gift card, pamphlets to local homeless shelters and a list of resources available near them.
For those who would like to donate used clothing, blankets, toys, please message me, and I’d be more than happy to come pick the items up.
There are many people in need of a little extra help. Whether we are able to help one person or one hundred, every little bit counts!
