Care Packages for the homeless in Toronto

Hi everyone! We are a group of nursing students at Centennial College and we want to give back to our community during these difficult times.
Homelessness in Toronto is at an all time high due to Covid-19 and the loss of jobs throughout the GTA. Many of the homeless individuals in Toronto rely on businesses for food and shelter but, due to Covid-19 business have been closing down which causes a lack of shelter and warmth. There has been an increase of homeless individuals due to Covid-19 alone. As we all know winter is approaching which leaves thousands of homeless individuals at a risk for hypothermia, infections and many more illnesses (besides COVID-19).
Many homeless individuals do not have access to the basic hygienic products that every individual needs. We want to help these individuals stay clean and safe from COVID-19 and other infectious agents. We want to make at least 100 care packages worth $40 each that contain good quality supplies that they can use throughout the winter. We also want to provide them with fresh sandwiches/snacks. We are planning on distributing the care packages on the weekend of December 12th. Please feel free to donate and help protect the homeless individuals in Toronto, Ontario. Any amount helps. We will be wearing PPE (personal protective equipment)/ gloves masks while handling any products.
What we want to include in the packages:
1. Sanitary wipes
2. Feminine pads/tampons
3. Masks
5. Hats
6. Gloves
7. Scarves
8. Snacks (e.g granola bars, protein bars)
9. Water bottles, juice boxes
