Care Packages for Nursing Home Residents

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted us all, however it has been particularly difficult  for the elderly and residents of nursing homes who are unable to spend time with their families during this holiday season.

We're fundraising to purchase and create care packages to pamper 51 residents at a Long Island nursing facility.  My sister,  Cat Romito, has worked at this nursing home for over 9 years, and has seen first-hand the emotional and social distress that Covid-19 has placed upon its residents. While it's no replacement for spending time with loved times during the holiday season, these care packages filled with soothing self-care products will make them feel special and not forgotten during this difficult time.

We've partnered with a wonderful, woman-owned Queens, NY-based small business, Lockwood Shop, who is graciously  discounting items to support this cause. Your donation will mean so much because it will help a vulnerable population and support a small business during these unprecedented times.
