Care Fund for Marie Ekren

Marie Ekren lost her beloved husband Chris after a tragic fatal accident on the night of September 15, 2017.  Chris was on a trip with a good friend, Liam Dennison, when their truck fell down a cliff off the logging road they were on.  Chris died on impact, so thankfully did not suffer.  Liam was injured quite badly but is recovering well at home now, which we are all grateful for.
Chris and Marie celebrated their one year anniversary just five days before that fateful day and were looking ahead to a bright and exciting future - with hopes of children, buying a farm, and joining their passions together in a business in becoming the next Chip and Joanna Gaines. 
Marie is one of the kindest, gentle-hearted, and loving people we know and our hearts are breaking deeply for her.  So many people are asking what they can do to help in this time of tragic loss, including ourselves.  Nothing seems to be a good enough gesture.  What do you do when something like this happens to your dear friend?
Although small in the big scheme of things, it would be amazing if we could help alleviate the stress of finances during this time for Marie.  Unfortunately, Chris did not have life insurance so all funds will go directly to Marie so she can put them towards their mortgage and any other pressing financial strains.
