Care for our Carers

Let’s face it, a clap is a lovely gesture but it’s not going to give them the luxuries they deserve.
I’ll be working with others in the community to buy face masks, hand creams and other self care indulgences. Not only will these make for great relaxation but it will also ease the damage caused by wearing ppe for hours a day for the last year.
I will be running 100km in January as extra motivation to fundraise.
This may not sound a lot to some, but coming back from injury this will be a challenge for me.

The two hospitals local to me are both brimming with Covid Patients.
Living in a closely knit community I’m able to speak to the heroes working in these hospitals and also see posts on social media in regards what they have been experiencing every day for the last year.
It’s so sad to see that recently they are on the brink. They are breaking. They are putting their absolute all into the war on this virus and it is hurting them.
