Care for Kymberly

Donation protected
My wife Kymberly has a long history of medical problems starting when she was just a teenager. We have been married now for 33 years and I have done my best to keep up with all the care that she has needed.
Kymberly suffers from a degenerative joint disease. Over the years she has had twenty-six surgeries on different joints in an effort to restore movement and relieve the pain. Even with all that she still would suffer daily pain as other parts  would begin to fail. She powered through the pain for many years working as a nurse at the hospital until she could take no more.
Three years ago she tried to take her own life.
It was one of the stories that we have all heard of where some unknown force causes you to do something even though you don't know why. That is why she is still alive. Kymberly was lying next to me in bed as usual. There was no reason for me to get up.
I got out bed and walked out of the room to the dinning room table I actually did not know where I was going but when I got to the table I saw the empty pill bottles and the note.
It has been a long road to recovery from that day. Kymberly lost her job because the state took custody of her until they were sure she would be safe at home and her employer would not take her back after the such a long period. We lost our medical insurance and spent everything we had trying to get her back to minimum functioning level but the pain never subsided and we applied for permanent disability.
So now with no money left we finally got into the ACA insurance and Kymberly is now receiving her disability payments.
Now Kymberly needs a procedure on her knee. It is so painful she can not walk on it most of the time. We got behind on our bill at the doctor that she needs to see so they will not see her until we pay the balance. If we can get this paid we now have our insurance and we should be ok after that.
As a husband it is very hard to watch my wife suffer knowing I can do nothing to help her. Our marriage has lasted because I have always stayed true to my vows to take care of her. I go to work everyday but the expenses over the last few years have been too much for me to manage. It is my love for my wife that has caused me to take this drastic step and try to raise this money for her.
