Care for Carleigh

For those of you who don't know Miranda Yarrington, she is a respiratory therapist who works in the NICU at Hillcrest Medical Center. If there's anything we've as employees learned in the short amount of time we've known Miranda, it's that she's an extremely positive, caring, loving person who is friends with everybody and works hard with a smile always on her face. Unfortunately, such a wonderful human being has had struggles lately. About 8 months ago, her daughter Carleigh had a cheerleading accident that left her with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome). Long story short, it's basically a chronic pain condition that causes intense pain either to nerves or tissue and can affect any part of the body. Lately, it's gotten much worse for Carleigh and it breaks our hearts seeing a little girl be unable to enjoy simple things in life like cheerleading with friends, or vacation with her family due to her inability to bear the pain she is in constantly.

　

Miranda's coworkers can feel the financial burden this family is experiencing. The Yarrington's have spent extensive amounts of money on experimental treatments and physical therapy in the hopes of finding some relief for their daughter. They also have other children and Miranda has gone part time at work to be able to be at home more to care for them. The goal of $5,000 is towards a treatment that Carleigh's physical therapist believes will be positive in reducing her pain. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Let's get Carleigh back to her young, vibrant self! :)
