Fighting the affects of Chiari Malformation!
Jennifer has already had multiple invasive surgeries over the last month and will need to have another one in the next few days. My family and her family have already helped us out so much with care, cleaning, and meals. They have taken so much time off from work and I have nearly exhausted all of my leave.
We have decided that it’s best if we go ahead and get a full time Nanny who can help take care of the baby and to help her with anything that she needs for at least one full month.
So many wonderful friends, colleagues, and family members have reached out to us wondering what they can do to help us out. Although these times have been extremely stressful and rough on our entire family, it’s also been hard to let people know what they can do to help. In addition, it’s hard for me to ask people for help since I have always been so self reliant and independent.
